Power Utility Pak for the Mac, Add-in Tools for Excel 2011
Briefly! Power Utility Pak (PUP/MAC v1) is a useful collection of add-ins that brings significant new functionality to Excel 2011 for the Mac. When PUP is installed, you can do things with Excel that you never thought were possible. Regardless of your experience level, you'll find features in PUP that can make your job easier. PUPMAC v1 augments Excel with about 60+ new commands including a mail tool for Apple Mail or Outlook and also 53 new worksheet functions. The product is designed to work seamlessly with Excel.

The current version of SAM is SAM 2020.2.29 Revision 3, SSC 242. See below to download the current version for Windows, Mac, or Linux. If you need to use an older version for comparison, use the list at left to find legacy versions. Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 offers a solid update to the Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the other members of the productivity suite. Though the latest package is still not on par with the Windows.
Many thanks to John for allowing me to make a PUP version for the Mac of his Power Utility Pak. The goal is to make every component of PUP/MAC error-free and accurate. Note: Power Utility Pak for the Mac is available as freeware. But you can use the Contact button in the menu if you want to support the development of this add-in.
How to Install the PUP/MAC add-in
1: Click on the Download link
2: Double-click the dmg file if it does not mount automatically
3: You see a folder named PupMacFolder in the Disk Image
In this folder there is one folder and the main add-in
4: Drag the complete PupMacFolder to the folder you want on your Mac
5: Open Excel
6: Choose Tools>Add-ins... in the menu
7: Click on Select to browse to the main add-in in the PupMacFolder
8: Select pupmac.xlam and choose Open
9: There is a checkmark now before the add-in name in the list
10: Press OK and you have installed the add-in
Note: Every time you open Excel it will load the add-in now, if you not want to load it by default use
Tools>Add-ins again and remove the checkmark before the pupmac.xlam.
If correct you see a new menu item in the menubar name PUP/MAC v1
When you click on it you can use the 60+ add-ins that you see in the menu

Because of a bug in Excel 2011 it is possible that it will display a security warning when you use one of the menu options. To avoid this you can uncheck 'Warn before opening a file that contains macros' in
Excel > Preferences.... Security. Be aware that this will open every file with code without a warning. Open only Excel files from people you trust.

There are 3 shortcuts that are very useful :
Activate Bookmarks : Command-Option-b
Run last Utility that you have opened : Command-Option-l (lowercase L)
Call the DatePicker : Command-Option-n

On the New keyboards 'Command' can also be 'CMD' and 'Option' can also be 'Alt'

In every menu option you can find a small help button that you can click on if you need help. Use 'Power Utility Pak Options' in the PUP/MAC menu to set the max number of utility files in memory.
